Urban Delight
Brief
The existing garden had become unloved and neglected with disjoined areas that the client’s children where using as play areas. The client is a keen gardener but sometimes things just get out of hand.
Solution
The garden was comparably small and it needed to achieve a lot of things for the client. The main issues where the disjointed sections and no hard standing. A curving paved area was constructed outside the doors with raised planters to provide instant height. A new lawn was installed with stepping stones leading to a child friendly play area.
Outcome
The client now has an outdoor space to be proud of and the children have their own space. The paved area will keep small and muddy feet out of the house and the raised beds make maintenance a lot easier.
